Branch Committee

The Branch Committee is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Branch. It consists of 14 members, elected each year at the AGM. Its duties include:

• Meeting regularly with management to discuss issues as they arise
• Leading negotiations with management
• Organising events for members
• Running meetings to inform members on workplace issues and seek their views
• Overseeing membership recruitment and engagement initiatives
• Liaising with Prospect nationally

The new committee for 2025/26 was announced at the 2025 AGM, following a week-long election period. Roles were assigned to committee members at the first meeting, a few days later.

The new committee for 2024/25 was announced at the 2024 AGM, following a week-long election period. Roles were assigned to committee members at the first meeting, a few days later.

The new committee for 2023/24 was announced at the 2023 AGM, following a week-long election period. Roles were assigned to committee members at the first meeting, the next day.

The 2022/23 committee was elected at the 2022 AGM.
